HUNTINGDON RACECOURSE

Huntingdon is a really nice friendly racecourse. Its famous for its Bank Holiday race meetings, although these can get very busy, and I much prefer to visit the course on one of their normal weekday meetings. The facilities are good and the tight nature of the course means that viewing is excellent from the grandstand.

Key Characteristics

The Huntingdon is one of the fastest racecourses in the country mainly due to the fact that it is perfectly flat with wide sweeping bends. Each circuit is a mile and a half with nine fences per circuit. This is definitely a speed horses racecourse.
