Wetherby racecourse is based in Yorkshire. They have invested heavily in facilities in recent years, and as a result the course is excellent, with superb views of the racing from the grandstand.
The Wetherby racecourse is a long oval course of a mile and a half, with 9 fences per circuit. It is an ideal course for a long striding horse that can freewheel round the course without having to decelerate around the bends.
