ROSCOMMON RACECOURSE

Roscommon Racecourse is a hugely popular and well attended venue in the west of Ireland. Primarily a summer track, the course hosts both Flat and National Hunt racing between the months of May and September. The majority of meetings are held in the evening time and are popular with locals and tourists alike.

Key Characteristics

Roscommon is a right-handed oval of nearly one and a quarter miles with a run-in of three and a half furlongs. The turns are sharp but it is essentially a fair track.
