AYR RACECOURSE
Ayr racecourse is a dual purpose racecourse set in the West of Scotland. It is probably Scotland's foremost racecourse. The biggest National Hunt race which is held their is the Coral Scottish Grand National.
Key Characteristics
Ayr is a left handed racecourse of a mile and a half with nine fences per circuit. The course has a steady downhill turn to the home straight and then a slight incline towards the finishing post. Ayr is quite a sharp course which suits front runners.
