BANGOR RACECOURSE

Bangor is a lovely picturesque course situated in North Wales. They have been racing at Bangor on Dee since 1859. Due to its jumping test for horses many of the top trainers send their novice horses to race at Bangor-on-Dee as part of their education.

Key Characteristics

Bangor is a very tight little track mainly due to the many turns that it has. It is only a mile and a half all the way round, but is a good test of a horses jumping ability with 9 fences per circuit. Bangor has a short run in of 1 Furlong.
