LEICESTER RACECOURSE
Their has been horse racing at Leicester racecourse since 1882, and nowadays it is one of the busiest courses in the country with both flat and jumps racing held there. Leicester could never be called pretty, functional is perhaps a better word.
Key Characteristics
Leicester is a right handed rectangular course of a mile and three quarters, with a stiff uphill finish. The ground can get particularly heavy in the winter. There are 10 fences per circuit.
