Conclusions

They rarely use the round mile at Doncaster anymore preferring to use the straight mile, and therefore there is very little data to go on. However with the little data we have their is an interesting result, with high numbers appearing to be favoured, meaning the horses on the inside are at a disadvantage.

This actually correlates with the results of the straight mile analysis, in that horses coming wide will come down the stands side, which would appear to be a quicker piece of ground than the inside.
