Conclusions

There appears to be a large bias favouring high drawn runners at Newcastle over 6 furlongs. The 6 furlong course is the same straight course which the 5 furlong races are run over so it is a bit baffling why their appears to be such a large bias over 6 furlongs but virtually no bias over 5 furlongs at Newcastle. The bias is just as large when the ground comes up soft.
