Ayr 6 Furlongs
The 6 and 5 furlong races at Ayr on from a seperate chute. It is a very quick course with the last couple of furlongs being pretty flat and the rest being downhill all the way.
Ayr 6 Furlongs
Races of 7F+ are run on the main course. The diagram above illustrates the topography of the last mile. Initially there is quite a steep incline for the first furlong, which gently drops down until the last half mile which is pretty flat.
